Keeping Time, 2012

Keeping Time was an installation done in collaboration with Fellow Graduate student Alex Bog for our First Year Review exhibiting. In an off sight location Bog and I created an elaborate hourglass that would run for the direction of the exhibition. The sand entered the room through a whole in the ceiling and accumulated on the floor in a geometrically perfect alluvial slope. The source of the sand was a roof top tower that took an extraordinary amount of maintenance.
